Canine teeth are the strongest, longest, and most stable teeth in the dental arch, often called eye-teeth or fangs. They are pointed, third from the center, and used for holding or tearing food. They are often called cuspids due to having only one cusp, as opposed to a bicuspids which have two cusps.
